Every style is unique to the individual and their desired outcome - but the goal is always an undetectable new look that will look great for years to come.
There are a few different hairline styles to choose from. If you're looking for a natural look, you can go for a softer, more curved hairline. If you want something a little more dramatic, you can opt for a straighter, more defined hairline. No matter what your preference is, there's a hairline style that's perfect for you. The main 4 hairlines are:
Edge up / straight
Receding / curved
Pointed / widows peak
Feathered/ Scattered
Some of the things that we take into consideration when we are designing a flattering hairline include;
The shape of your face. If you have a round face, you'll want to a more angular hairline. If you have a long face, you'll want to avoid a straight hairline that will make your face look even longer.
Your hair texture. If you have fine, thin hair, usually a softer, more subtle hairline will suit you. If you have thick, coarse hair, you may suit a more dramatic straight edge up.
There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to hairline designs so what might work for one client might not work for another. Before we even start tattooing we being by designing the hairline with our clients and make sure they are 100% happy with it.
How we find the perfect hairline?
One of the ways that we are able to find the correct position for your hairline is by getting you to lift your eyebrows. By following the natural curve that the face makes/wrinkles and staying above that line we are able to tell where a clients natural hairline once was.
